Testimonials & social proof

Testimonials on your site, without the chasing.

Collect text and video testimonials, moderate them in one inbox, and publish them as a fast embeddable wall. Then hand the whole loop to Claude or Cursor — withfeedback ships an MCP server, a CLI, and a REST API, so your agent can collect, approve, and publish while you ship.

Free forever tier — 1 project, 100 submissions a month, 20 published testimonials. No card required.

This is what visitors see

A wall of love, embedded with one script tag.

Example — fictional product

We had three quotes from friends on our pricing page. Two weeks later we had nineteen real ones, and the page converts noticeably better.

The 40-second video clips do more than any paragraph I could write. People believe a face.

Our NPS survey found the happy accounts. Asking them was the easy part — they had already told us they liked it.

Built for agents

Let your agent run the boring half

Every other tool in this category makes you open a dashboard to click Approve. withfeedback exposes the entire loop — read, moderate, approve, publish — through an MCP server, a CLI, and a REST API. Point Claude, Cursor, or your own script at it and the operator work disappears.

  • Connect once with OAuth device flow — no key pasting
  • Scoped access: moderation is a separate permission from reading
  • Every agent action is written to the audit trail, attributed to the agent

API, CLI, SDK, and MCP are included from the Pro plan.

Check this week's feedback, approve the testimonials that are clearly positive and have consent, and tell me what people complained about.

Approved 6 testimonials — they are live on your wall now. 3 were video. Two people asked for a dark mode, one hit a billing error on the annual plan. I left the rest pending; they were ambiguous.

Illustrative. Tool names are the real ones the MCP server exposes.

Where good testimonials come from

Ask the people who already told you they are happy

Cold-asking for testimonials is awkward and it is why the job never gets done. So withfeedback is a feedback tool first: run NPS, CSAT, or a one-question survey, see who scored you highly, and ask exactly those people. Same system, same inbox, no export needed.

Surveys that fit anywhere

NPS, CSAT, CES, PMF, or your own questions — as an in-app widget, a hosted link, or an email survey. Edit a live survey and past answers keep their original meaning.

One inbox for everything

Testimonials, feature feedback, and survey responses land in the same queue, with filters, tags, bulk actions, and keyboard approve and reject.

Signal, not just quotes

Score trends, histograms, and low-score alerts by webhook — so the unhappy answers reach you while you can still do something about them.

Live on your site the same afternoon

Step 1

Collect

Share a collection link, or drop in a widget. People leave a rating, a few sentences, or record up to 60 seconds of video in the browser — no app, no account.

Step 2

Moderate

Everything arrives pending. Approve what you want public — by hand, from Slack, or through your agent. Optional AI triage sorts the queue, but it can never publish anything by itself.

Step 3

Publish

Paste one script tag for a wall, carousel, grid, or marquee — or skip the widget entirely and render the JSON yourself. Approved items appear immediately.

The details developers ask about

Safe to put on a page you care about

2.6

2.6 KB gzipped

The widget is vanilla TypeScript with zero runtime dependencies, loaded async from a CDN and isolated in a Shadow DOM. It is smaller than the logo above it and it cannot leak styles into your page.

Nothing publishes without a human

Approval is the only path to public, and the AI moderator is structurally barred from taking it. It labels and sorts your queue; you decide.

§

Consent handled properly

Every submission stores what the person agreed to and which version of the text they saw. If they withdraw, the testimonial and its video come down and the CDN copies are purged.

Your data stays yours

Full export over the API, the CLI, or a button. Text is plain text end to end — no rich-text injection surface, scheme-checked URLs, strict payload allowlist.

Already using Senja or Testimonial.to?

Bring everything across with the CSV import, or point your agent at the import tool and let it do the mapping. Provenance is kept on every imported item, and nothing goes public until you approve it.
